For homeschool families with a portfolio review

Your homeschool portfolio, done as you go.

Snap a photo of what you did today and add one sentence. SkoleLog files it by subject, keeps your reading log, and turns the year into one clear portfolio your evaluator can open with a link.

Free for founding families. Opening state by state.

Made in Denmark by a homeschooling family of seven.

Skole means school in Danish. Say it SKOH-leh-log.

183 families already use it in Denmark.

Watch

See SkoleLog in under a minute.

One photo, one sentence, and a portfolio your evaluator can open with a link.

How it works

Three steps. That is the whole app.

1 · Ten seconds

Snap it

A worksheet, a nature walk, a batch of cookies. One photo and one sentence, or just talk into the mic. Siblings can share a note.

2 · On its own

It sorts itself

SkoleLog suggests the subject and you decide. Every note lands on the right day, so you see the year subject by subject, and what needs a little more time.

3 · Review time

Hand it over

Pick your best work samples, add a few lines in your own words, and share one link with a PIN. Or print it.

Made for your review

Whoever reads your portfolio, it is ready.

Evaluator states

Pennsylvania, Florida and more

Your evaluator gets dated work samples by subject and your reading log, all in one place, long before the deadline.

Portfolio reviews

Maryland and more

Show the county or your umbrella school steady progress in every subject, review after review.

Charter learning periods

California charter families

Have a dated sample for every subject ready before each learning period meeting with your teacher.

Are you an evaluator or charter teacher? SkoleLog is free for you: every family that shares with you in one list, with your notes for each review. Tick the box when you join.

The Nordic way

Made for how you actually learn.

Everyday learning counts

Baking, hikes and museum days are learning. Unschooling? Subjects are optional, and a note can just be what you did.

No grades

SkoleLog never scores your child. It records what you did, and your words are what the reviewer reads.

Private by default

Only your family sees your notes. Faces in a photo can be blurred with one tap before anything is shared.

Your data is yours

Download every note and photo at any time, and delete your account whenever you want.

Founding families

Be one of the first families.

We are opening SkoleLog state by state, starting where families have a portfolio review or an evaluator. Tell us about your homeschool, and we will invite you when your state opens.

Founding families use it free while we build it with you, and keep $29/year after that.

How do you homeschool?

We only use your email to invite you and ask what you think. No spam, and you can leave the list at any time.

Questions

What parents ask.

When can we start?

We are inviting families state by state, starting with Pennsylvania, Maryland, Florida, Virginia, Maine and California charter families. Join the list and we will email you when your state opens.

What will it cost?

Founding families get early access for free while we build it with you. After that, founding families keep a price of $29/year for as long as they use SkoleLog.

Do I need to download an app?

No. SkoleLog works in your phone's browser, and you can add it to your Home Screen so it opens like an app.

Who can see our photos?

Only your family. Your evaluator sees only the child and the period you choose to share, behind a PIN, and you can turn the link off at any time.

Does SkoleLog grade my kids?

Never. It records what you did, and the words in your portfolio are your own.

Why a Danish name?

Skole means school in Danish. We homeschool our five kids in Denmark, where families also show a yearly review what they have learned. We built SkoleLog for ourselves, and now for you.
